  • What do I need to bring?

  • What are your opening hours?

    We are open 48 weeks a year as well as 1 or 2 week holiday program

    Monday – Thursday: 7.30am – 6pm

    Friday: 7.30am – 4/4.30pm

    We are open on all Public Holidays and closed on Jewish Holidays

  • Are staff qualified?

    To ensure the highest standards of care, we pay the utmost attention to employing qualified and experienced staff.

    Our staff are dedicated early childhood professionals, holding current WWC and certification in early childhood, first aid, anaphylaxis, safeguarding children, food safety and relevant qualification certificates.

  • Is the Centre approved or registered?

    Chabad Glen Eira Creche is fully accredited and approved childcare centre.

    We adhere to the Early Childhood Australia code of ethics and UN Declaration on the rights of a child.

    We are accredited Safeguarding Children organisation by the Australian Childhood Foundation.

    We are also a member of Sun Smart Victoria, Asthma Foundation, and many more relevant associations.

  • How do I enrol my child?

    The first step in your application process is to book a tour of our amazing Centre.

    During your visit, the Centre Director will take you on a tour around the centre, and answer any questions that you might have. You will have an opportunity to meet our friendly educators and view our program.

  • Does my child need to be immunised?

    The new requirements prevent childcare facilities from enrolling children without immunisation certificates from Medicare.

  • What is the orientation process?

    We understand that this might be your child’s first experience away from home and some children may feel uncertain about starting a new experience in a new environment. As all children are unique, so too is the orientation process. We work with each family individually to ensure that your child has the best and easiest transition into creche.

  • Can I visit my child whenever I like?

    We have an open door policy and welcome our parents to visit the centre at any time throughout the day.

  • What if my child gets sick?

    We follow the guidelines of the ‘staying Healthy in childcare‘.

    If your child becomes unwell, we will contact you immediately and we will discuss the best option.

    We are committed to providing and maintaining a healthy environment so please do not send your child to the Centre if they are unwell.

  • What activities are provided?

    We believe children learn through exploration and stimulating experiences and our play based programs offer a wide range of carefully planned activities. Our programs are displayed in each room. All families are encouraged to participate and provide input.

  • What will my child eat?

    Our dedicated and experienced chef provides fresh and warm nutritious meals, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. We take all allergies into account and cater for the needs of each child.
